Just amazing. They arrived safely packaged in just 10 days! I put batteries in it (3 AA for piece) and they automatically turned on. Right away I caught someone else's chat (perhaps a neighbor with the same kind of radio?), so i turned them off and read the instructions to find out how to switch channels (i'm really not a radio connoisseur, sorry). Very good instructions, by the way, in Deutsche, French, Spanish, Italian and English. Many settings, looks complicated at first glance, but once you mess around a little bit it's actually pretty simple to set up (for adults, at least). either way i was glad that there's a lock function, for the kids to play without messing with the configuration. Volume is adjustable as well. As for the range, my daughter went from our 3rd floor apartment down the stairs and out of the building, and then all the way to the mini-market down the street (about 300m away), while we spoke and we heard each other clearly, with no statics nor interference.
