Received the goods whole. I could not check the battery then no.

Very good caliper and accurate. Prefer fiber over metal because of less weight. Light weight allows to easily attach to wall using Velcro. Uses LR44 1.5v battery which is not included.

Received in good order, 5 weeks Europe. It is carbon Fiber and not steel but it is very solid, stiff and lightweight. I was a little afraid it would be plastic like and very flexible but it is not, its quit good actually and very accurate.

Works perfectly (once put an LR44 battery, not provided). But very slow shipping (59 days)

I suggest getting a cheap non digital metal one. This one feels very flimsy and cheaply put together.

For such a price is quite good. But it is better to take the metal.
